Every event tells a story.
Some just forget to write one.
CREATIVE EVENT STRATEGY
We help corporate and nonprofit teams design events that start with strategy and storytelling. The theme. The branded experience. The merch strategy. We build it all so your event turns into something people talk about long after they leave.
What Happens When the Vision Comes to Life
FROM STRATEGY TO STORY
Crafting Success in Brew City, Milwaukee, WI. A national sales meeting where the story and history of the city were woven through every touchpoint. A custom cream city brick logo with the skyline set the tone. A pop-up merch shop gave people a choice in what merch they took home. The stage, the signage, the centerpieces all spoke the same language. 250 people showed up for an event and left with an experience.
Most events start with logistics. Moments + Merch events start with a question: What do you want people to feel?
HOW I THINK ABOUT EVENTS
Story first
Every event has a narrative, whether you design it intentionally or not. I make sure it's intentional. From the moment someone gets the invite to the moment they walk out the door, every touchpoint should reinforce a single, clear story.
Merch with meaning
Branded merchandise shouldn't be an afterthought you panic-order two weeks before the event. It should be part of the strategy, items people actually want, designed to connect back to the theme and extend the story beyond the room.
Spaces that speak
A venue is never just a venue. I do site visits with you and figure out how to use the space to reinforce your narrative, the flow, the sightlines, the moments of surprise. Then I work with production partners to bring that vision to life.
Experience over agenda
An agenda fills time. An experience changes how people feel. I design the experiential moments, the activities, the immersive touchpoints, and the unexpected details that make your event feel alive, not just scheduled.
“Creativity is inventing, experimenting, growing, taking risks, breaking rules, making mistakes, and having fun.”
WHAT I DO
The creative vision that makes everything else make sense.
Event strategy. Experiential design. Branded merch. On-site creative direction. Field events. All connected by one creative vision. I lead with creative strategy and bring the right people to the table to help with the rest.
Working with Moments + Merch is best for teams who know they want something more than 'just an event' but aren't sure how to get there.
WHO IS THIS FOR
Corporate teams
Teams planning conferences, sales kickoffs, team summits, or milestone celebrations who want an experience that reflects their brand, not a generic hotel ballroom setup.
Nonprofit organizations
Organizations running galas, fundraisers, or donor events who want to create emotional connection that drives generosity, not just a nice dinner with a silent auction.
Marketing teams
Teams executing field events, trade show activations, or wraparound experiences who want every touchpoint to reinforce their brand story and make a lasting impression.
I'm the person who leaves a conference thinking about why the merch had nothing to do with the theme.
ABOUT
I've spent my career in marketing, building events that go beyond logistics. I've seen too many that check all the boxes but miss the most important thing…making people feel something.
I'm based in Appleton, Wisconsin, and I work with corporate and nonprofit teams across the Midwest and beyond. I do the creative thinking. The themes, the merch strategy, and the experiential design and partner with production teams, designers and merch vendors to bring it all to life.
